Story

I recently spent $6,500 on this registered Black Angus bull.

I bought a new bull for the farm not long ago, and I’ll admit, I had high hopes for him.

He looked strong, healthy, and exactly like the kind of animal that ought to do his job without much encouragement. So I turned him out into the pasture with the herd, expecting nature to take its course.

But nothing happened.

He wandered around, sniffed the air a little, then lowered his head and started munching grass like he was on vacation. The cows walked past him, stood near him, even gave him every chance to show some interest, but he didn’t seem to notice them at all. He just kept eating.

After a while, I started getting worried. I had paid good money for that bull, and the longer I watched him ignore the cows, the more I wondered if I had made a very expensive mistake. A bull that only eats grass is not exactly a sound investment.

So I called the vet.

The vet came out, checked him over from head to tail, and told me there was nothing seriously wrong with him. He said the bull was healthy, strong, and in excellent condition. Then he added that the bull might just be a little young and needed a bit of help getting started.

So the vet gave me a bottle of pills and told me to feed the bull one pill every day.

I figured it couldn’t hurt, so I started him on them right away.

Well, within two days, that bull changed completely.

He went from ignoring every cow in the pasture to servicing every single one of them. I mean every cow on my farm. He was everywhere at once, moving through that herd like he had suddenly remembered exactly what he had been bought for.

And then he didn’t stop there.

The next thing I knew, he busted straight through the fence and went after my neighbor’s cows too. Tore right through the boards like they were made of paper. By the time I caught up with him, he was already over there working like he had a contract to fulfill.

Now he’s a breeding machine.

I don’t know what the vet put in those pills, but whatever it is, it sure did the trick.

And I’ll tell you one more thing.

They taste just like peppermint.
