I thought I was having an ordinary afternoon when two deer wandered out of the treeline and approached the fence near my property. They didn’t seem frightened at all. The larger deer stood quietly a few steps back, watching everything with calm eyes, while the smaller one kept tilting its head as if it was studying me. The scene felt so unusual that I pulled out my phone, snapped a photo, and jokingly shared it online with the caption, “Looks like I have some unexpected visitors today.” At first, it felt like nothing more than a charming wildlife encounter.
